Program Keystones The Grace House Program is based on four simple ideas or keystones. Therapeutic activities are developed with these keystones in mind. The keystones are:
-
Honesty - Telling the truth and being honest in word and deed.
-
Responsibility - Making one's own choices and decisions and accepting the consequences of those actions, good or bad.
-
Care of self - Linked with responsibility and honesty. Honestly facing one's own issues and problems and responsibly working to address and resolve them.
-
Care of others - Also linked with responsibility and honesty. Learning to recognize that one does not live in this world alone. Understanding that others are deserving of your respect and attention. Recognizing that everything one does or does not do impacts others in some way.
